ABOUT THE FOUNDER/LEAD TUTOR
Hello my name is Carmelita Mason M.Ed, M.A and I am the owner and operator of K2E. I have over 15 years experience in education in which I was a preschool teacher for 10 of those years in the Troy School District. I have a lot of experience with school age children and Safety is my number one goal at all times. I have worked with children ages 2 1/2 - 15. I love to do crafts and play games with children. I believe hands on fun is the best. I am a kid at heart and I believe 100% involvement with children is what a true caregivers philosophy should be. I love children and I love showing them how learning can be fun. I have a Bachelors in Communication, Masters in Early Childhood Education and Masters in Reading and Language Arts. I look forward to meeting you.
SERVICES OFFERED
To make tutoring affordable for new families of elementary and middle schoolers, sessions begin at $35 per hour per child. Every three months, rate increases by $5, with a maximum cap of $50 per hour. this gradual increase allows families to get started at a lower rate while ensuring long-term support for their child's growth and success.

Bringing The Classroom into Your Home
For those parents who prefer learning to take place at home instead of a school. Homeschooling allows you to take all the time you need to ensure learning is taking place at your child's pace. A plan is made for each individual child for all subjects.

For the parents who have children that require a little help in certain subject areas. In-home tutoring schedules requires a minimum of 1 hour a week. We take a comprehensive and collaborative approaches in creating a plan and program that is right for each one of my students. Adjusting to different personalities and specific academic needs, We always find what works best.

•If your child requires specific materials or manipulatives based on assessment, it will be recommended but parents will need to provide.
